Bunny-licious!

I have a confession to make - this year all my friends and family are getting shop-bought Easter cards. Disgraceful, I know, but with the wedding invites on the go (BTW, I can now proudly announce that they are on the way to their recipients!), I simply had no time! I had to make at least one spring/Easter-themed card, though, just for a bit of sanity... ;-)

It's been a while ago that I have purchased this LOTV Spring Bunny with Eggs stamp, and now I finally had a chance to use it! I hope to use it much more in 2014!

Anyhow, have a peek at what I came up with:

Cheerful colours, a few different textures, some glitter, glossy accents, a cute image and of course butterflies - this is my recipe for spring! Now I only need to put the card at my windowsill and hope that Spring will see it and finally come our way & take Winter's place... because so far, Winter doesn't seem to be too keen to leave... And it's really high time, don't you think?!

Shrek-y Valentine

I have been browsing through photos of my recent projects, and am just after realising that I have not posted one of the funkiest V-Day cards I made this year! The couple like to call each other Shrek and Donkey (I won't tell who is who ;-)), and so I was asked to make a Valentine's card that would include the two characters. 

Being in the mood of anything red, with hearts, sweet words and love messages, I found it somehow  difficult to think of green Shrek and his favourite companion... But then suddenly I came up with an idea and... Here's the result! Pretty cool, huh? 

I have to say, I was rather pleased with the idea and its execution. And what do you think?

It's the first day of spring in Poland tomorrow, so stay warm, and let's hope spring really comes!!!

The remainder of V-Day cards

Welcome back after a long break! It's been a crazy few weeks, and the next one or two are not going to get much easier, but I am starting to see the end of the tunnel, at least in the wedding invites world! :-) Can't wait to post them to my relatives and friends, and then to finally be able to show them here!
