It's raining...BABIES! :-)

Hello Everyone,

Hope that you're all having a fabulous weekend! I have been busy with a few family and friends meetings, but I have also had quite a few cards to make! I'm so lucky to be surrounded by people who like my work and order cards from me! :-)

Today I can finally present to you a Baby Shower card that I made for a friend. I couldn't post it earlier, not to spoil the surprise! The mommy-to-be doesn't know if the baby is a boy or a girl, so I decided to go with more neutral colours, rather than gender specific. I used an umbrella shaped-template by Shape EZ, which I thought was very apt for the occasion! A few butterflies (you know my obsession by now!), blingy flowers, some sparkly Stickles, pearls, and... voila!

The card is apparently going to have a special place in the Baby Album, as my friend reckons it's one of the loveliest cards she has ever received! I was a happy bunny when she told me that! :-)

Hope you like it, too!
You can see the sparkle below:
A few friends signed the card inside, after the photos were taken:
I also made a quick envelope, as the card didn't fit into anything I had!

I am entering the Umbrella Card into the following challenges:

Just a little bit of summer...?

Even though the weather is a bit mad this weekend (you never know when sudden rain will come, but at least it brings rainbows with it!!!), I am somehow feeling a little bit "summery". It's a good feeling! :-)

My cousin has recently passed all her school exams, and so I thought that I would send her a little Congratulations card... I wanted to keep it relatively simple, and I think it still has elements of a CAS card...? I love the yellow/teal combination, although I believe it looks much nicer in reality than it does in the photo...

Anyhow, hope you like it!

I am entering the card into the following challenges:

Inky Impressions - Anything Goes
QKR Stampede - Summer Fun
Cute Card Thursday - In the Summertime

Have a great week!

First Christmas card this year!

Hello Everyone,

I owe you a huge apology for being so quiet here recently, but I am afraid that between now and October it's unfortunately going to be this way... I have started a new job (and have new working hours which are not too good for the crafty part of my life), and the wedding will soon take over completely (by which I mean the time off for the wedding itself & then the honeymoon - WOOHOO!:)), so please bear with me, and I promise I will do my best to pop over here every now and then and update you on my crafty achievements.

I have recently made my first Christmas card of 2013 - the plan was to make one every month, but obviously you can guess how this is going, since the one below is the *first* one... ;-) I am glad I made one at least, though...

Have a peek below, I hope you like it! The card was made for the Divas By Design challenge blog, where I am part of the DT.

 A lot of glitter:

It was only after uploading the photos that I noticed that the bow was not really the most elegant looking... So I have amended it since ;-)

I am entering the card into the following challenges:

Inky Impressions - Anything goes
Scrapki - Wyzwaniowo - Something red
I love ProMarkers - Anything goes

Have a great weekend,

M.

Happy Summer! (hopefully)

Hello Everyone,

Hope that you have some lovely sunshine outside your window, too!

I know it has been quiet here recently - I was away for a week... A lot of work was done during this "holiday", and I am now very, very close to being able to say - "all is ready for the wedding"... A few bits and bobs left but this one week has really made a huge difference!

I have managed to make a quick card last night - I have to say, I really enjoyed colouring this lovely image by Delicious Doodles (it's called Fairy Fae, in case you wanna look for it). I have added A LOT of Stickles, Glossy Accents, etc. - I might have even gone a little too mad with it ;-) But I am really happy with the sparkle on this card - makes it girly, happy and somehow summery (even though the butterflies are grey!).

I hope you like it!

I am entering the card into the following challenges:
Crafty Friends - Anything Goes
A Gem of a Challenge - Summer Time
QKR Stampede - Any Winged Creature
Moving Along With the Times - Sketch
I Love Promarkers - Use die but no punches

Have a lovely evening,

M.
