Welcome back, Everyone!
Yeah, love is in the air again... LOL. I have to admit, my husband and I don't really celebrate V-Day in a very traditional way, however - whether we do or not - the shops, TV & radio stations and everything & everyone around us keeps reminding us about Valentine's Day fast approaching! Therefore, my blog had to get some love, too, and have at least something love-related on it during this time!
Today I would like to share with you an anniversary card I made for a couple of friends - 40 years together, pretty impressive, eh?! Since the 40th anniversary is "ruby", I decided to go with reds, whites and pearl - classy and really pretty at the same time! And it coincidentally goes with my country's colours (red and white), which was pretty handy seeing that the card is on its way to Poland :o)
Of course, there's lots of bling and shimmer, and I used my favourite die for this occasion - Anja's Large Oval by Marianne Designs. Whenever I see this die, it makes me think of weddings and anniversaries, and I just can't help myself, I HAVE TO use it! This time, however, I decided to turn the card into an easel one - quite pleased with the result, I must say!
I am entering the card into the following challenges:
Inky Impressions - Valentines/Love/Anniversaries
Inky Chicks - From POLAND with love (red and white)
A Gem of a challenge - Lots of Layers
Hope you like it, too!
Whether you celebrate Valentine's Day or not - have a great weekend! And remember - it's much more fun to have Valentine's Day everyday rather than just once a year! ;o)
Warm hugs,
M.
