Hello,
And here I am, back again! :o) This will be my second and last post for today, the other cards I mentioned in my previous post will be uploaded in the coming days.
The second challenge over at MFT are "sensational sliders". And yes, I do realise that my card is not a slider, however the challenge organisers advised in their rules that wobblers, googly eyes and other movement options are acceptable, too. And since I had a few wobblers here and there in my craftroom (they usually end up scattered all over the place for some reason!), I decided to use one of them.
This card is not very complex - on the contrary, it's quite a Clean/Quick and Simple one. However, I do believe that the wobbler adds loads of fun to it, and a too busy card would simply distract from this cool feature. This would be a fab card for a kid (or a big kid, LOL).
The card is mostly watercoloured with the use of Distress Inks - I started with only blending on the sky and the hills with the blending tool, but in the end decided that I wanted a more loose look to it. I went over the blended scene with a wet brush and voila - a new look! :o) Somehow, the watercolour messiness seems to me more appropriate for this card - what do you think?
I am entering the card into the following challenges:
MFT Camp Create - Sensational Sliders (used an action wobbler as per rules mentioned in the challenge video)
SSS Wednesday Challenge - Animal Magic
Crafty Friends - Inspired by a song ("Baa baa black sheep" which my little baba adores, and I have to keep singing it to her - hence the card had to have a black sheep!)
Wobblers and googly eyes always make me smile - they're just so fun and different! I hope you like this simple card.
I am showcasing my second MFT Camp Create badge with pride:
I'll be back tomorrow with more cute sheep - stay tuned!
