Hi Everyone,
I seriously can't believe that Christmas is just around the corner, can you?! I haven't even posted half of my Christmas cards here on the blog... I suppose you'll be able to see them all on my Instagram - I will only share a few here... unless you are going to be interested in Christmas cards in January ;o)
Today, I decided to take a break from Christmas cards, and share a birthday card I made last night. I used stamps by a company new to me - Mudra Stamps. Watch this space for some upcoming projects in early 2017 - their stamp sets really inspired me, but I won't have much time for the remainder of December to make what I came up with (since I am going to be travelling here and there for the next 3 weeks) - so hopefully January will be the right time for some relaxing crafting!
Today's card was actually inspired by an ongoing challenge over at Mudra - there's a sketch to follow. I also wanted to play some more with my recently rediscovered texture paste, hence the background of the card (by the way, I mixed the Golden Glitz Delicata ink with he paste, to make it more less match the golden embossing). I think the gold embossing is still a "hiccup" after all the Christmas projects, hahaha!
It's a delicate and feminine card, really beautiful and shiny in person, and it will be perfect for some birthdays I have coming in January - lots of ladies in my life happen to celebrate at the very beginning of the year!
I hope you like it!
I am entering the card into the following challenges:
Mudra Stamps - December sketch challenge
Have a great pre-Christmas week!
