Hi Everyone,
Happy New Year! Hope you had an amazing time during Christmas and around New Year's Eve! My Christmas time and its surroundings involved quite a lot of travel (and very little crafting!) but it was a lovely time, and I really enjoyed spending some days off with my closest family, as well as some other relatives and friends.
Today I am sharing with you the first slider card I made (I made spinner cards before, not many, but I did... sliders are a novelty for me!). The MFT goodies I won a short while ago came really handy! :o) The card is really simple, but the slider element definitely makes up for it! Perfect if you are stuck for time but want to make something a little bit more special (now, I'll admit - this card was sent to a crafty friend, so she surely wasn't hugely surprised with the sliding element, but for "non-crafty" recipients this would have definitely had the wow factor).
I hope you like it. By the way, if you want to see more of my creations from the Christmas 2016 period, pop over to my Instagram account - I posted most of them there! I didn't have the time to post all of my makes, to be honest, but hey - I'll try my best next time, and I'll just keep posting about them as I make them!
I am entering the card into the following challenges:
I Love ProMarkers - Anything Goes
Passion For Promarkers - Anything Goes
SSS Monday Challenge - Start afresh (my new slider dies)
SSS Wednesday Challenge - New Something (new dies & slider element on a card)
If you follow me on YouTube, you'll have a new Haul and Happy Mail video to watch in the next day or so...
Have a great year 2017, here's to a crafty one!

This is adorable - I love a good slider card and haven't made one in a while. Definitely time to start again. Love the patterned paper background. I made a couple of spinners and a friend bought them for her Christmas stash and told me they went down very well indeed! xx
ReplyDeleteThis card is fab Mirella! The image is so cute and a great idea to make a card extra special - I haven't made a slider card for ages so I think I might have a go!! Your papers are gorgeous too - a really lovely card! Thanks for joining in with this week's challenge at PFP and good luck! Hugs, Karen xx
