Hi Everyone,
Hope you're all keeping well! I've had a small break from crafting and posting on the blog - my little daughter started going to creche/nursery last week, and we're all adjusting to this new situation. For now, I spend most of my days close-by, hence I am not at home enough to have the chance to create. And, let's be honest, I am emotionally drained also... It's going well, however, she's a real trooper and is loving other kids' company (which is why I am sending her there in the first place!). I would imagine from next week onward I'll be able to stay at home, so let's see how it all goes...
Today I am sharing with you a bit of an unusual card for me - I rarely use a lot of black on my creations. However, I wanted to play with a golden Wink of Stella that I got a good while ago and never used, and so this is the design I came up with.
I think it came out rather nicely, and in reality it's not as black and sad as one would imagine - the sparkle and the pops of pink/fuchsia really help! Here you can see the lovely sparkle even better:
I am entering the card into the current SSS Flickr challenge "What's new"
This card is already on its way to a crafty friend, and I hope she likes it when she receives it!
Have a great week,
Mirella
