Hi Everyone,
Have you heard of Love Cynthia and her Happy Girls? If you haven't, you definitely need to check them out! I fell in love with these cute girls last year, and around Christmas time treated myself to 2 of the stampsets (boy, what a hard decision it was! I still have a few more on my wishlist!). It's a bit embarrassing to admit, though, that I only started inking them up a short while ago...
Today's card is a complete mixture of companies - AKA my favourite type of creations! The background stamp is from The Ton, the die cutting was done with Mama Elephant and MFT dies, the stamps are by Love Cynthia, the sentiment by Mudra Craft Stamps... The result? A (hopefully) cute, girly and sparkly card for a very special friend! The recipient said the card made her smile - and that was the plan! Mission accomplished :o)
I know I am not the world's best colourer but I did my best, and at the end - it's practising that makes perfect, right? I keep playing and experimenting, and one day I will be happy, like these Happy Girls :o)
I am entering the card into the following challenges:
Seven Hills Crafts - Tic Tac Toe (Bold shades - People - Die Cutting)
Krumspring Spring 2017 Festival - Think in thirds
Have a great day,
Mirella
SUPPLY LIST (please see affiliate disclaimer & essential supplies info here):
Stamps:
Love Cynthia - Find a reason to smile
The Ton - Freestyle stripes
Mudra Craft Stamps - Purely sentiments, brushed
This is so fun and adorable! Your colouring looks great to me, really good shading round the folds in the dresses and on their hair (something I struggle with!). What a fab card - I'm not surprised your friend loved it! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Seven Hills Crafts :)
