Hi Everyone,
Hope you had a lovely weekend! We had very rainy days, unfortunately, which was a real bummer after a beautiful & sunny week, however it was nice to be able to laze around the apartment with the family.
The rain made me feel a little blue, but I channeled these feelings to make a card for the current Neat and Tangled "rainbow" challenge. I coloured the little penguins using Distress Inks, fussy cut them and then decided to sprinkle them with some water. Truth be told, were I to make this card one more time, I don't think I would go for the water droplets again, but hey - what was done was done! They do look kinda more interesting that way...
The sentiment is by Inkadinkado, and it was just so fitting that I had to use it! Yes, the American spelling of the word "colour" really bothers me, but thankfully I have a lot of crafty friends overseas, and I'm sure they will be happy with the lack of "u" ;o)
Hope you like it:
I am entering the card into the following challenges:
Neat and Tangled / Little Tangles - Rainbow
Seven Hills Crafts - Tic Tac Toe (animals, watercolour, bold shades)
Have a great week,
Mirella
