Quick and simple birthday cards with Mama Elephant and Distress Inks

Hi Everyone,

Happy weekend! Hope you have something lovely planned for the coming 2 days :o)

Today I am sharing with you a few super quick and simple birthday cards I made in the last few days - I know they're not the most elaborate of cards, but sometimes one is in a need of a few quick projects for... yesterday ;o) And these were exactly that - rather quick, and at the same time cute (who doesn't like rainbows or nice bold colours?).

I used Distress Inks on all of these - the first two had colours blended onto cardstock, the third one was more "watercoloured" on a canvas paper. The big bold sentiment from Mama Elephant came really handy! Although, I do have to say, stamping onto the canvas paper seems to have imprinted the canvas texture onto my stamps - I hope they recover from that over time! A few sequins here and there, some thread, butterflies and/or vellum, glitter stickers, and voila! QAS and happy cards ready to be sent out!

Hope you like them, despite their huge simplicity.

I am entering these into the following challenges:
Krumspring Spring Festival: Rainbow
Krumspring Spring Festival: Watercolour

Have a great weekend,

Mirella
