Hi Everyone,
Is your time flying as fast as mine is?! I cannot believe that it's already May, it feels like Christmas was just a few weeks ago... Ha! And speaking of Christmas - I guess it's gonna be time soon to start preparing cards for Xmas 2017 ;o) But, for now, let's focus on spring and summer for a while still!
Today I have another card for Anna Kossakovskaya's CASometry Challenge - stage 4. There's only one to go! I'm so happy that so far I've managed to participate in all stages, and I will do my utmost best to make something for the final stage, too!
1 random stamp set + friendship
This time I randomly chose a stamp set by Jane's Doodles (yep, most of my Jane's Doodles gorgeous sets have been in the NBUS pile so far, so this challenge proves really good for me finally playing with these!), Double Trouble. It's such an adorable set!
Initially, I was going to use both the boy and the girl images, and make them represent friendship, but then I thought on my potential recipients of this card, and decided that sticking to the girl only will actually make it more usable for me. I really wanted the girl to hold a ballon (with the sentiment on it), so I used a WPlus9 set for this purpose - if you are adventurous, however, you can always just draw one yourself :o)
There are a few boo-boos here and there on the card, but I won't be pointing them out, haha! You either see them, or let's pretend that it's all perfect! Altogether, I'm pretty happy with the little scene I created. The sentiment matches the theme, I can totally use it to post out, AND there's a bonus of a googly eye that makes me giggle every time I look at the card whilst it's still in my craft room.
I am entering the card into the following challenges:
CASometry Challenge 3 - stage 4 (stamp set + friendship)
Seven Hills Crafts - May colour challenge (picture no 3)
Passion for Promarkers - BINGO (Dies/Bling/Birthday) - googly eye and shimmer count for bling, right? :-)
SSS Monday Challenge - it's a frame up
I Love ProMarkers - Anything goes with one layer option
Have a great, happy day!
