Fall card with The Ton Stamps

Hi Everyone,

Miss me much? :o) I am so terribly sorry for slacking with my card-making recently - the truth is, I am not slacking as much in the craft room, as I am on social media. Don't get me wrong, I really have not had much time for crafting recently, but in the last few weeks if the choice was between posting online or making, I chose making... Hopefully I'll manage to show some of the projects on my Instagram, and maybe even here, in the nearest future.

There are three main reasons for my recent absence - holidays, visitors, and... another baby on the way! Yes, those of you who follow me on Instagram already know - we are expecting another baby girl in late January! We're over the moon, and can't wait to meet our new family member, but at the same time I know my crafting will suffer for a while again... It will be all worth it, though! :o)

Enough rambling, though, let's talk crafty!

I was lucky enough to win a few stamp sets over the summer, and I decided it's time to start playing with these. My pile of Never Before Used Stamps (NBUS) is growing, and there are so many lovely new sets coming out all the time... I need to try catching up ;o)

Today's card was heavily inspired by the current season (autumn) itself, but also by the current challenge happening over at The Ton Stamps - the mood board is so lovely that I got inspired right away!

I hope you like what I created, I am really pretty pleased with it:

I am entering the card into the following challenges:

I had so much fun playing with the (new to me) ZIG clean color real brush markers, I am also really happy with the colours of the background (+ a bonus - I used scraps for it!), and with all the golden detailing - the shiny mirror card for the matting, the golden splatters on the background & the gold heat embossing go really well together, and definitely compliments the fall colours, I think.

The flowers were fussy cut and slightly popped with some double sided foam tape for additional interest. There's also a little bit of Wink of Stella on the flowers, but that's not very visible in the photos, I'm afraid.

I sincerely hope I will be back here soon, with more creations!
Until then - have a great week.

Mirella
