Hi Everyone,
It's me again, and today I am sharing another card I made for the MFT Creative Olympics competition that is taking place at the moment - I am loving their creative challenges, and whilst I don't think I will manage to make cards for all 4 parts of the competition (guests arriving later tonight & staying for the weekend, so no real opportunity to craft, but let's see what can be done about it, LOL) - I still decided to play along at least with the ones I do manage to make.
For the second round, we're asked to make any card with any technique, as long as it is winter themed. The Cooler with you set came handy again, so, although in fairness - one could place any cute critter on a snowy background, and make it fit the theme. However, since my Cooler with you set has not been used a lot so far, I decided to play with it. And, I also added a few elements from other MFT sets, too, to make the card design more fun.
For my colouring, once again I used ZIGs (yes, the obsession continues!). Some of the images were cut out with the coordinating dies, some were fussy cut - can you guess which? ;o) I also had to add a bit of sparkle here and there, and some detailing with a white gel pen. And - my first winter/Christmas themed card of 2018 is ready! Feels good to start collecting these in advance ;-)
I am entering the card into the following challenges:
MFT Creative Olympics - Stamping Slalom
SSS Wednesday Challenge - Add a diecut
Have a great day,
Mirella
Just dropped by to say how much I love this card. Made me smile :)
