Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the Trinity Stamps January Release Blog Hop!
You should have arrived here from Goga - how have you liked the makes and inspiration so far? I know I am in love with this release, and will have to get a few of the items for my stash for sure. The ones I do have already, I am having a ball playing with. So much so, actually, that I have not one, not two, but three cards to share with you today!
First off, a funny shaker, that's for sure going to make the recipient smile, whatever the age!
Spooky eyes as shaker elements?! Isn't that so fun? The second I thought of that idea, I truly giggled to myself, and I was grinning ear to ear throughout the whole process of making it. And the best part? I love the end result even more than I thought I would! :o)
We have a shaker, an ink blended panel, stamping, splattering, die cutting, some heat embossing, some inlaid die cutting... Phew, it nearly has it all, LOL! But I think it all works together, and I hope it makes the recipient smile for at least a few moments.
====================================
Next up, some Monster hugs with a surprise.
See the stencils in the corner of my first photo? LOVE! They're not only great for masking areas on your projects (you get both the negatives and the positives, so the possibilities are endless!) - you can also stack them, and create fun and interesting backgrounds, like the one I have here behind the little monster. And that took no effort or time at all!
Yup, that was the very first product that I begged Taniesa for, when she sneaked the new release to us!
If the "sending monster hugs" message and a cute circular background are not enough for you, don't you worry - I do have an ace up my sleeve here ;o) You see, the monster actually wobbles! And who doesn't love a bit of a wobbler? I know I do!
====================================
I saved my favourite card for the end - it might be the simplest one of them all, and it's not interactive, but I sure love it, and I'm afraid that it might be one of those cards that I won't be parting with any time soon... (am I the only freak who hoards her own cards?!)
I love rainbows, so I HAD to make at least one rainbow-y card.
Awesome, right? It's amazing how fab the white gel pen looks against the grey background, and how the rainbow simply pops. I didn't even want to add any embellishments to this panel, not to screw up its simplicity ;o)
The fact that the "hugs" die coordinates with this out-of-this-world sentiment stamp (yup, I said it, and I stand by it!) is truly genius, and makes these sets even more versatile... So... yeah... I suggest you do yourself a favour and get both, LOL!
That's probably enough excitement for now, you still have a lot of other stops to visit, and I know you're in for a treat with what my talented teamies have to share with you.
I will be sharing more projects with the new products over the coming weeks, so stay tuned!
Oh, and one more thing - there are prizes! YAY!
