DATA PRIVACY

Here are the nitty gritty details in relation to the new EU/EEA General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

This blog in general

This blog is ran on a Blogger platform (owned by Google), and as such it uses cookies to make it work properly. In order to find out more about what Google does with the information that it collects thanks to the cookies, please see their Privacy Policy.

Every now and again, I link to some of my other social media sites in my posts, and these might also be using cookies (let’s face it, they probably are!). Here’s what they have to say about their Privacy Policies:

Commenting on my blog & contacting me through my contact form

Please bear in mind that when you leave comments on my blog (for which I am very grateful, by the way - keep them coming!), you consent to some of your information (like your user name/name) being displayed on said blog. The comments also get emailed to me. This might provide me with access to your email address.

Same happens when you contact me through my “Contact me” section. Note that your information stored through the “Contact me” section of my blog will be deleted as soon as your query has been resolved/questions answered/contact otherwise established.

Giveaways and destashes

Every now and again, I might organise giveaways or destashes through my blog. When purchasing any of the destash items, or being the lucky winner of my giveaway, you consent to me having a few pieces of your information, including your name, email address, your postal address, and occasionally your telephone number. These will only be kept electronically until required, e.g. until the transaction is complete (when you confirm having received your purchased goods / you advise me that the prize has safely reached you). After this, the information will be deleted/destroyed - this should normally not take longer than 30 days from the beginning of the transaction, unless some unplanned complications occur - in such instance, the information will be deleted after any occurring issues get resolved.

Affiliate links
As you know, I am an affiliate of a few crafty (and not only) brands, which means that if you purchase supplies through the links provided on my blog, I will get a small commission from the shop, without any additional cost to you. Please note that when you click on an affiliated link, you will leave my blog’s website, and be re-directed to a third-party website - I use ShareASale.com for my affiliate links, and here is what they have to say in their Privacy Policy

Final thoughts

Rest assured that I will never sell, rent or trade any of your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

By disclosing your personal information to me, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of your personal information set out in this Privacy Policy.
